Traditional 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Filtration

The PureT RO550-905EZ combines proven reverse osmosis technology with conventional replaceable filtration cartridges and a pressurized storage tank.

Rated at 50 gallons per day, the system uses sediment filtration, two carbon-block stages, an RO membrane and a final GAC polishing filter to treat drinking and cooking water at the point of use. Purified water is produced gradually and stored in the included pressurized tank so it is available when the drinking-water faucet is opened.

5-STAGE FILTRATION

Stage 1: 5-Micron Sediment Filter
Helps capture dirt, rust, sand and suspended particles before water reaches the carbon filters.

Stage 2: GAC, Granular Activated Carbon
 Highly effective at reducing chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, industrial solvents, PFAS, and taste- or odor-producing compounds like hydrogen sulfide

Stage 3: 5-Micron Coconut Shell Carbon Block
Provides an additional carbon-filtration stage before the RO membrane.

Stage 4: 50 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane
The primary separation stage, the membrane can provide 96–99% rejection* of specified dissolved contaminants under applicable operating conditions.

INSTALLATION

The IRO550-905EZ is designed for under-sink point-of-use installation.

It requires connections to the cold-water supply, drain, storage tank and dedicated drinking-water faucet. The system uses quick-connect fittings and does not require electrical power.
